New Collaboration Empowers Floridians Toward Self-Sufficiency

The Florida Workforce Development Association and Better Health Better Pay Collaborative is partnering with a major Florida healthcare provider to launch the Florida Self-Sufficiency Council. This initiative aims to support Floridians in achieving wellness and economic independence as they transition off Medicaid. The Florida Workforce Development Association represents the state’s network of 23 local workforce development boards, which works to strengthen Florida’s labor force by providing job training, career services, and employment support to individuals and businesses. Through partnerships like this, the organization continues to drive economic growth and self-sufficiency for Florida residents.
